HOW WE ARE UNIQUE
This is a people business, and it should be treated that way. We don’t approach it as a transaction, but rather a relationship. We believe rather than revealing the same resumes that are filling your inbox, that taking time to get to know each other, which includes gaining a deeper understanding of your organization’s needs, should be our priority. This allows us to decide, together, if there is enough of a fit to move forward. Our unique approach, with both our clients and candidates, ensure you get the right people plugged in, each with the emotional intelligence and intrinsic motivation to increase shareholder value and help you win.
Fact: The true cost of a mis-hire is estimated at 5x to 15x their annual salary (100K salary = 1.5MM loss)
Fact: 1 out of every 2 new hires in the USA will churn within 18 months
Our commitment is focused on quality over quantity. That means a collaborative, transparent, hands-on approach with fewer clients, driven by the highest possible standards, resulting in a partnership where all parties are consciously aware and appreciative of this more thorough way of running a search assignment.

EPI Strategic’s founder, Lou Rigney has been forging successful connections within business for over 25 years. Lou studied Economics and Communications at San Francisco State University and soon after started his professional career working within commercial real estate. However, Lou wanted to combine his passion for working with children with business in a different arena. At the age of 35 he started an accelerated teaching credential program. He then quickly rose to the top as a teacher and was asked to become the school principal after his first two years. While working as a school principal he was asked to take on the role of Expansion Director as well. Over the course of the following years, while working for this large group of charter schools Lou’s job was to open up new schools throughout the state of California. He opened up multiple schools within his first few years in this role. However, working within a bureaucracy limited his creative spirit and desire for more. Lou decided to start his own business, a business that would truly compliment his skill set and desires. Lou found recruiting to be a perfect fit considering one of the many hats he wore as a school administrator was being an internal recruiter. He gets to meet lots of people, and with a little work, help them make their lives better.
Lou exudes leadership, tenacity, people skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and enthusiasm. If this is what you are looking for in a recruiter please contact EPI Strategic!
